A total of three studios were required to support this. DICE brings back its experience with multiplayer shooters and the first-look moving images of the Frostbite 3 engine and provides the core of the title with “traditional” battlefields, even if some changes are planned for the first part. Criterion, which has already been used for the X-Wing VR mission for PlayStation VR, are fighting the space battles because of their experience with “the feeling of speed and catchy handling” – the Burnout and Need for Speed knowledge should pay off here. Last but not least, Motive Studios takes the singleplayer campaign, a hopefully good decision, but the quite young studio has a series of action veterans from Ubisoft and Valve in its ranks.
